Pridi Banomyong International College (PBIC) is located on the bank of the Chao Phraya River at Tha Phra Chan Campus of Thammasat University. As a commitment to the internationalization policy of Thammasat University, the Pridi Banomyong International College was established in 2008 to introduce unique interdisciplinary programs taught in English. Of particular emphasis will be new programs and degrees created in collaboration with leading universities overseas.

The Pridi Banomyong International College is named after Professor Dr. Pridi Banomyong, Statesman and Founder of Thammasat University. In 2000, UNESCO named Dr. Pridi Banomyong one of the great personalities of the country. In recognition of Dr. Banomyong’s outstanding achievement of establishing Thammasat University, it is appropriate that the College is named after him.
