Requirements & Process

General Requirements Qualifications

1. Applicants must have finished at least high school (Upper secondary education level) or hold a high school equivalency credential both domestically and internationally.

Remark: Applicants, who have not or have finished their upper secondary education level from an educational institution/a high school aboard or international schools in Thailand, must submit academic transcripts to Pridi Banomyong International College for consideration according to the Thammasat University’s Announcement on Thammasat University’s Guidelines on Equivalency of High School Qualifications, issued in 2021.

1.1 Applicants must not be a patient or in a condition that would be a serious obstacle to the study
1.2 Applicants must not be a person who acted morally wrong or with excessive bad behavior history.

Specific Requirements

2.1 Applicants must have at least one of the English Language Proficiency test certifications as listed below with the test results taken within 2 years prior to the application date. (Except for international student whose English is a native language):

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 OR
TOEFL (IBT) 61 points OR TOEFL (ITP, PBT) 500 points OR
TU-GET (PBT) 500 points OR TU-GET (CBT) 61 points OR
New SAT system (Reading and Writing) 400 points OR
GSAT (Reading, Writing, and Language) 400 points OR
English Language Proficiency test held by Pridi Banomyong International College.

2.2 Applicants who apply within the Inter program – Admission 1 and have the English language proficiency test scores that do not meet with the criteria, but have English proficiency test scores not lower than the following criteria.

IELTS (Academic) 4.5 OR
TOEFL (IBT) 32 points OR TOEFL (ITP, PBT) 400 points OR
TU-GET (PBT) 400 points OR TU-GET (CBT) 32 points

If qualified, applicants will be required to participate in the Pre-sessional English course and complete its course evaluation and assessment before the beginning of the semester.

Otherwise, the applicants will be considered ineligible and unqualified for the admissions to Pridi Banomyong International College.

2.3 For Chinese Studies Program Applications

(1) If applicants with HSK Level 4 (180 points) with the test results less than 2 years prior to the date of application have been qualified, the applicants will be required to study at the college in the study plan specifically provided for those who have passed HSK Level 4 (180 points).
(2) If applicants without HSK Level 4 scores (180 points) have been qualified, there will be a Chinese language proficiency test held for the applicants by the college.
